Here's what some of our customers are saying about us!

Our human friend, Darlene, felt we needed carriers for visiting the Vet and other outside excursions.  However, we love to be shown off, so these clear acrylic carriers really do the job.  As well as we don't feel as confined!

Petey, the Greater Jardine, didn't mind at all, he thought the carrier was a cool new adventure.  He is only 5 months old so everything is new to him!  Coco, the Blue and Gold Macaw, will go just about anywhere, anytime.  Now he did after a few minutes sit and growl like a dog in the carrier, but he didn't fight it.  Sundance, the Patagonian Conure, however, is a different story.  He doesn't like confinement in close quarters.  We have tried a few varieties of carriers now and this one seems to be the one that will work.  He still doesn't like it, but he doesn't fight it so badly!

What can I say about Connie and "Birds the Word"?  This was my first time ordering from them and I was surprised at the speed in which the order was received and processed.  They are the best!  We had a few delivery challenges, but Connie stayed right on top of it, was communicative and got it resolved immediately....only one day delay in delivery, so you can see how expediently she took care of the situation.  Was greatly appreciated!   Darlene

This is our Cockatoo friend, Kiyo, from Japan!  His human shops at Bird's The Word quite frequently and tells us that Kiyo loves all the toys he purchases from us!  Thank you Kiyo!

This is Mariko and her Blue & Gold Macaw, Marine.  They live in Japan!  Mariko recently ordered a Macaw carrier from us and had to send a photo of Marine near the carrier.  Marine is a bit shy!  You can visit Marine at her website here

Hey birds and the people you own! I've just got to tell you about Bird's The Word!  It is a terrific place to find bird-safe toys, food, perches and other cool things for us.  Fly around the store and look at the many choices.  My human loves to get me surprises to keep me busy chewing toys instead of being frustrated or bored.  I just LOVE to chew wood and leather so she makes a lot of toys last longer by restringing them from supplies she finds at BTW. She knows that Bird's The Word has a BIG of selection of challenging bird-tested toys & treats.  Yummy foods too to keep nutrition fun.

You'll love it!   Tango the Moluccan Cockatoo

Just received my box of toys!!! Excellent delivery time! I have NEVER had such a great response from my cockatoo AND all three macaws. Never has the bird room been so quiet but for the sound of crunching and munching and contented chirps. This toy (Pinenut Surprise) is truly a winner in my household. I was even able to cut off a couple of strings of goodies for a couple of amazon houseguests here this week because their eyes were so big and round staring at all the fun I just couldn't bear to leave them out. I am waiting to see whether they will stay interested and how long it will take to complete the demolition project. Ahhhh ... a day I can leave for work truly without an ounce of guilt. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your creativity and understanding of a parrot's need for joy and busy work.  Sandi from Carson City

Mark from Australia:
"I just wanted to let you know the toys arrived this week.  They are fantastic, the two big chew toys were a big hit, straight into Harley and Little Chooky's cages and they were chewing on them.  They have chewed there way through one  of the woven Shredders already.  It may not be long before I am sending you another order."

Bev from England:

"I am writing to let you know that I received the package of toys today.  That is what I call quick service!!!  We are ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED with the nut toy, wow it is so big and well worth the money, thank you so much.  We see nothing like this here in England or if we did it would be VERY expensive.  I shall definitely be ordering from you again."

This is our friend, Shanti, a young Blue & Gold Macaw, who is one of our regular customers!  Shanti is showing us how much he enjoys a Palm Decker Kabob & a Lots O Knots!  Thank you Shanti!

Cheryl writes:

Thank you!  My order arrived very quickly!  I have to tell you that my birds don't normally liked oatmeal and the likes, but they LOVED the Beak Appetite Calypso Spice!  My Goffins Cockatoo, who normally isn't thrilled about anything new, chomped it down like it was her last meal!!  I was afraid to take the bowl out because she was guarding it, even when it was empty!   I warm it up for her, so she makes those yummy warm food noises when she gobbles it down.

Chris & Shirley write:

My wife, Shirley, couldn't believe the value for money when she opened the package from you that arrived today.   We have two pairs of Scarlets, a pair of Blue and Gold's, a pair of Hahn's and an Umbrella Cockatoo.  The Blue and Golds, Archie and Guinivere immediately attacked the Pine Nut Surprise, the youngest scarlet, Ferdinand, is hanging on to the Blockbuster, and the Cockatoo, Keys, by far the most destructive, is trying to destroy the free toy you included.  Thank you so much Connie - we'll certainly be ordering more 'stuff' soon.

Marcia writes:

"Einstein just LOVES her new "Got Nuts?" toy!  However, she has renamed it "Wanna Nut?"!  Thanks for offering such a great toy!  I will be placing an order soon, because I don't think this one is going to last much longer!"

Anna Writes:

Greetings -

Had to let you know that we got our shipment today, and the toys are fabulous!  The birds went nuts!

Really appreciate that your toys are made with such a variety of interesting stuff.  I often look at competitors' toys and think they must've been designed for the mental capacity of the fruit fly, certainly not the intelligent parrot.

Anyhow, I see no need to look elsewhere for bird toys --

I'll definitely be back often.

Thanks!
